Ribbon used in stead of a chair rail to customize this bedroom for a little girl
This room came together in stages. First the room was painted half and half with 2 tones, blue on the top and cellery green on the bottom. Two coats of both colours were required to optimize the colours. About 6 hours for all the masking and both coats.
I came back the next day to add a boarder of flowers and bugs that matched to the bedding. The boarder is continuous all the way around the room past 2 narrow windows, an odd angular wall, the alcove by the door and a closet. About 8 hours
Then a double row of ribbon was applied to the wall. The wider white ribbon was held in place with staples and the narrower fushia ribbon was hot glued over top. About 1 hour
There was enough ribbon left over to custom trim some cusions a lamp and a waste basket for a truly custom designed look (not shown).
