Day to Night Sky

Ow. This was my first ceiling project. Maybe my last!
The body simply isn't intended for working overhead for hours at a time. Not good for the neck to be bent back.
Not good for the legs to spend all that time ballancing on a ladder.

When the lights go out, the sun doubles as a moon and the airplaine becomes a space ship. Planets, stars and a shooting comet were added with glow-in-the-dark paint over the clouds so that the daytime sky becomes a nightscape. below - These images have been exagerated in photo shop of course, to give you an idea for the final results. The glow in the dark paint really does floures but it's fleating. And I couldn't photograph it because the flash would either wash it out or the room was too dark to capture without the flash.
