Illustration Friday - Magnify
Thought I'd try something completely random, a "self-portrait" doodle.
One of the things I doodled into my hair was an eagle. While I was doing it I was thinking, "Why? It's not my totem or a passion of mine...". As I was scanning it I had to laugh - Beak!
I like my nose. It shows my Dutch heritage - very Rembrantesque. With great noses comes great responsibility!
It's probably no coincidence that Rhinos became my mascots.

Excellent! I love how you hid the eagles, strawberry, checkerboard and flowers. And you just have to love the "nose"
Fabulous drawing. I was fascinated by your comment on your Dutch heritage; I've always thought there were very distinctive 'national' faces. I'm also interested in how language shapes the mouth (and therefore the face). Love it!
