The Painting Method

• The artwork is performed freehand so paintings can be arranged to best fit your space.
• Acrylic paint can be used for more durability.
Poster paints are better suted to temporary displays and are easier to clean-up.
• Part of the charm of window paintings are the brush strokes. When appropriate, the stokes can be laid down in a texture. A roller can help to minimize the lines over large areas.

Commissioning a Painted Window

• If you only have a theme in mind I can generate a few specific ideas for you to choose from.
If you already know what you want, even better!
• If you are happy with the ideas and agree to quote I would have you sign a contract with me. A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the estimate (to be applied towards the cost of materials and preparation) is due upon signing.
• Different designs vary in complexity so it is impossible to give a rate based on area. I will have to come to your location to see the size of the window and to determine if there are any architectural details that might effect the time required for the painting .
Estimates WILL NOT be offered site un-seen.
Quotes are supplied per contract requirements.
